Just one more coat of paint.
Nothing but a facing drywall patch going on here. The garage contractor added new vertical studs in a way that didn’t quite help or hurt this task. Our internal plaster wall is about 1+1/4″ thick so I used a few 3/4″ boards to close the gap and provide ample support for the drywall.
The real test will be if we can tell that there was a window there after the patch is complete. Will we always have the faint shadow of a window on our wall?
Three items of note have changed in the past few weeks. In the last week of July the door between the house & garage was installed. The window between the dining room & garage was removed. And the garage concrete slab was installed.
